About the speaker:

Einstein Hale is a registered psychotherapist with approximately 15 years of experience working in mental health, addictions, crisis intervention, and gender-affirming care. He currently works in complex and acute mental health at Victoria University of Wellington and maintains a private psychotherapy practice in Wellington. Einstein’s work has included providing gender-affirming psychotherapy, completing readiness assessments for gender-affirming medical care, and supporting transgender and gender-diverse individuals across a range of clinical and community settings. In addition to his professional experience, Einstein also brings lived experience as a transgender person, which informs his understanding of both the clinical and personal aspects of gender-affirming care.
