Do you have a grasp of the basic client-centered element of Motivational Interviewing, but think you might like to increase your expertise in the more technical and directional elements of this method? This workshop will focus on recognizing, reinforcing and eliciting client language about change – where MI becomes focused on an outcome goal. Learners will hear the newest research about the value of change talk, see video demonstrations and participate in exercise to increase skills in this area.
